Regimental Traditions

One of the items looted from Joseph Bonaparte’s baggage was a silver chamber pot. The regiment who “liberated” the pot was the 14th Hussars who retained it as a trophy and to this day is used on regimental guest nights to toast with champagne. It is known as the Emperor.
